BY CABLE. By Electric Telegraph— Copyright . ' [recxer telegrams.] Received 12.30 a m. LONDON, Sept. 23rd, 2.45 p.m. Abdellad has surrendered to Sir Evely: "Wood. Large numbers of rebels wh deserted from the enemy have plunderei Damietta. The Grand Cherif of Mecci has been deposed and imprisoned. Received September 24th, 5.50 p.m. One thousand men of the rebel garri son at Damietta have surrendered. Russia is concentrating forces in Armenia, apparently with the view ol influencing the settlement of the Egyptian difficulty. Received September 23rd, 1 p.m. ALEXANDRIA, September 22. An expedition, under Sir Evelyn Wood, comprising three British regiments, has started for Damietta to co-operate in the attack on that place. No confirmation yet been received of the report that the rebel garrison had yielded. All officers of the Egyptian army below the rank of colonel, who were under arrest here for taking part in the rebellion, have been released.
