By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, [rbutkk’b telegrams.] MELBOURNE, September 20. The P. and O. steamship Rohilla, with the inward mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, August 11th, arrived here this morning. Sailed, this afternoon The Union Company’s steamship Te Anau for the Bluff. Malting barley is in fair demand at 5s Id to 5s 3d; inferior descriptions are unsaleable. Shipping wheat, 6s 8d to 6s lOd; quotations nominal only. New Zealand oats are quoted at 4s to 4s 2d for feeding, and 4s 2d to 4s 3d for milling sorts. O’Farroll, who attempted to assassinate Archbishop Gould by shooting him with a revolver on the 20th nit., and who was committed for trial on the 2nd instant, was brought up at the Supreme Court to-day, and was found guilty on a charge of unlawfully wounding, and sentenced to two years’ imprisonment in Melbourne. Received September 20th, 7.30 p.m. SYDNEY, September 20. It is stated that the Hon. John Lackey has resigned his portfolio as Minister of Public Works, and it is rumored that a break-up of the Cabinet is likely to follow. Sir Henry Parkes retiring from his position as Premier.
