LONDON, Sept. 14, 6.10 a.m. Arabi now states that he was compelled to take np arms and fight against his will. * The Khedive is about to proceed to Cairo and review the British troops. The Indian troops are to re-embark at Suez on the Ist October. An Indian loan of two and a half millions is required to meet the expenses of the contingent. ["Agb" Spboiax.] Received September 19, 3.5 p.m. LONDON, September 18, 6.40 a.m. The British forces are to mass at Cairo, where the Khedive is expected to arrive to-morrow to review them. The Highland Brigade garrisons the city. At Aboukir 200 rebel officers have surrendered their arms. Temporary military districts are to he established. The Indian loan to pay the expenses of the Indian troops will be twenty-five million rupees. Arabi is to be allowed the assistance of counsel on his trial. The Guards proceed home immediately, leaving Cairo for Alexandria after the review.
