Devery and hie mate, Hill, wt ra observed working near a face in their olaim about noon to-day. Shortly afterward! a fall of earth took plaoe, and when the spot was examined the men were not to be seen, and they have not been seen since. A party are bu«y removing the fall. -A later telegram states that the dead body of Devery has been found, and"that the men are still engaged ground-sluicing the debris away looking for the other cody. Coroner Stratford will leave first thing in the morning to hold an inquest.
