[PP.K33 ASSOCIATION TKLEQEAM.] DDSKDIN, September 12. The annual meeting oc.the Chamber of Commerce was hold to-day. Mr W. J. M. Larnaoh, 0.M.G., retiring president, delivered a lengthy address Ho referred to the inCrespo in cumber of members during tho year from 147 to 174. ard urged an associated Chamber for the whole colony. He gave it M bis opinion that £63,000 would have boon well spent in establishing s monthly steam communication. He suggested the formation of tribunals of commerce as in Germany, to Settle commercial disputes without recourse to Law Courts, and spoke of the nooeaoi y of levying fi;e rales in cities. He also referred St length to tho progress of tho colony, as shown by e-tamticj, &c Mr Robert Wilson was elected president for the ensuing year. On the motion of Mr Jones, it was carried that the large hall of the Chamber should be thrown opon as a Stock Exchange each day between twelve and one, and lists furnished by brokers of stocks and shares dealt ia and posted in the hall. Also that stock and Station ageuts be invited to furnish similar lists for posting. The Chamber also resolved to meet monthly in future.
