GEAIN AND PRODUCE. A small business his been done in wheat daring the past week, at 4a 4d to 4s 6d, according to quality and place of delivery. The demand Is, however, very light. For feeding samples a fair business is passing at 3s 6d to 4s. floor continues exceedingly quiet, and only best brands are saleable, at <£U to .£lllos. Some parcels of country are offering at wfitO, without finding buyers. A small business has been done in oats at 2s lOd to 3s for best samples and for inferior at 2s 6d. The markets in the neighgoring colonies continue quiet, and at rates relatively lower than our own. In barley there is nothing doing, good samples would command 4s 6d, but none are offering. Eye grass seed and clovers are moving off at prices based on quality. Potatoes have improved in value, and sales have taken place at up to 45s at country stations. Dairy produce is without quotable change, and hams and bacon are still quoted at 7£d to Bd, with a fair trade demand.
