Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) TUESDAY, SJjrTKlitiKa 5. For Westport direct, per Southern Cross, at 11.30 am.; late fee letters, at 11.40 a.ra.; guard’s van, 12.10 p m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Te Anan, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p m. train. For Northern ports, per Hawea, at 7 pm. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6.
For l nited Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed per Orient steamer only), and Australian Colonies, per express (to connect with B.s. Te Anan). at 7 a.m. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9.
For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &0., Ac., per Wunaba, as follows :—Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m.; bocks and newspapers, at 630 p.m.; money orders, at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.10 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on October f 3rd
