Anew timetablecome iato force on the Ist proximo, in which are the following alterations: — 8.10 p.m train from Chiistohnrch to Ijttelton, 8.40 p.m. train from Lyttelton, 6.40 a.m and 4.10 p.m. from Waikari, each fire minutes later than at present. The morning and evening trains from Christcbnrch to Waikari leave Amberley three minutes earlier than at present. The 11 5 a.m. from Waikari leaves A mberley seven minutes earlier than at present. The train now leaving Christchurch for Springfield and Sonthbridge at 7.2 S a.m. leaves at 7.20 a.m. The Express tram frem Christchurch starts at 8.10 a.m , instead of 8.15 a.m., and the times at intermediate stations np to Palmerston are slightly altered. The evening tra'n from Christchurch to Ashbnrton starts at 4.15 p.m., taking passengers for stations south of Bolleston only. It will not stop at stations between Christchurch and Bnrnham to set down passengers, bnt only (if required) to pick np passengers for stations sooth of holleston. A train leaves Christchurch for Springfield at 4.30 pm. This train takes passengers for stations between Christchurch and Bolleston. The times at intermediite stations of the 7.10 a m from Ashburton to Christchurch are slightly altered. The train now leaving Ashburton for Christchurch at 11 a.m. starts at 10.55 a.m. The times of the Express from Dunedin are slightly altered from the time of leaving Palmerston, making the train five minutes later arriving in Christchurch.
The times of the 9.10 a m. train from Christchurch to Birdling’s Flat are slightly altered at intermediate stations, The storting time of the train from Birdling’s Flat is altered from noon to 11.50 a.m. The 7.30 a.m. train from Timaru to Ash-
burton ia accelerated, and arrives m Ashburton five minutes earlier than at present. ..... , The 4 35 p.m train from Tijnarn to Ashburton ia accelerated, and arrives in Ashburton ten minutes earlier than at present. The evening train from Springfield to Christchurch leaves at 4.30 p.m. The morning train from Barfield to Whiteolifls leaves at 10.1 a m., and the evening train from Whiteoliffs to Barfield and Barfield to Whiteclifts at 4.25 p m. and 6.51 p.m. respectively. The train now leaving Waimato for Sludhome Junction at 1.35 p.m., and Studholme Junction for Waimate 2.10 p m., runs fire minntes earlier than at prosent. The evening train from Methven to Bakaia and the retnm train are respectively five minntes and twenty, five minutes earlier than at present. FEBDK. BACK, Traffic Manager.
