U.A.O.D. —The second anniversary of the Anchor Lodge, held last evening in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Wools ton, was a most pronounced success. The hall was crowded in every part. The concert programme was a diversified one, and the various items embraced by it were ably rendered by the ladies and gentlemen who took part in it. The District President in a very able address gave a resume of working by the Order in New Zealand, and referring move particularly to the Anchor Lodge, stated that it had been in existence only eighteen months, and mustered over eighty members, and. that the society waa in a sound financial position. After the concert the hall was cleared for dancing, in which some fifty couple took part.
