[bbxttbe’s telegrams.] LONDON, August 16. Consols remain at 99-J. New Zealand securities aro without any quotable change. Colonial wheat has suffered a decline of 6d ; Adelaide, ex warehouse, is to-day quoted at 49a 6d ; and New Zealand, ex warehouse, at 48s 6d. Adelaide fionr remains at 36a. Australian tallow is firm, at last quotations. The homeward Australian mails, via Brindisi, which left Melbourne on the 4th July, were delivered here to-day. THE NEW MINISTRY. INFANTRY AWAITING CAVALRY. THE MAORIS’ RETURN. [“ AGE ” SPECIAL ] LONDON, August 17. Cherif Pasha will form a Ministry. The troops are inactive pending the arrival of the cavalry. Sydney Taiwhanga and his fellow commissioner sail on September 7th.
