[“age” special] LONDON, August 13.
The removal of Baron Lesseps from the Presidency of the Suez Canal is probable, and it is likely that he will be succeeded either by the present English Consul-General, B. B. Malet, Esq., C. 8., or the British Yice-Consul, Raphael Borg, Esq. It is not true that Germany is adding to her fleet of gunboats.
The Turkish Press has been warned not to comment on the delay in landing the troops in Egypt.
