Mails close for the following places as tinder (subject to the necessary alterations) : FBTDAY, AUGUST 11. For Otago, per Wokatipo, at 12.30 p m.; late fee letters, at 12.45 p.m.; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. SATUBDAY, AUGUST 12.
For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape of Good Hope, Natal (via San Francisco), Sandmen Islands, Northern Forts of New Zealand, &c, &0., per Hawea, as follows :—Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 6,30 p.m.; money orders, at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.10 p.m. train. This mail will ba due in London on September 55th.
