Admiral Seymour has summoned Abonkir to surrender, under threat of immediate bombardment.
The “Daily News” applauds tho decision of the resistance to the French protests regarding Fort Said, and tho departure of a portion of the fleet for it.
Parleying is proceeding between Arabi and the Khedive, hut Arabi maintains a sullen attitude.
Tho Banks have been re-opened in Cairo and Alexandria.
An anti-Gambetta-Freycinet Cabinet is probable in France.
