Mails close for the following; places as under (subject to the necessary alterations): TUESDAY, AUGUST 1.
For Northern ports, per Penguin, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not hi used for this mail.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Brindiei (specially addressed correspondence only), Point de Galle, India, ( tuna, Japan, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports and Australian Colonies, &c , per express (to connect with aa. Bingrooma), at 7 a.m.
For Northern Ports, per Go-Ahead, at 1.4; p.m ; late fee letters, 2pm.; guard's van. 2.40 p.m. train. ForOtago, per Southern Cross, at 3.20 p m. j late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train.
