COURSING.

PAPANUI CLUB. The nominations for the Papsnui Onp and Sapling Stakes close at Mr J. Wild’s Sawyers’ Arms Hotel to-night at 8 o’clock. The draw will take place immediately afterwards. Jacob Spooner will handle the slips and Mr J. Turner officiate as judge. A good coursing ground has been secured, and, it is said, a plentiful supply of hares. Conning will commence on Tuesday morning on the arrival of the first train, the locale being Bolleslon. YALDHURBT MEETING, This meeting will be concluded to-day, weather permitting. Eight courses have to be run off to finish the meeting. A start will be made in Mr Holmes’ paddocks, close to the hotel
