It has transpired that the Ministry have made a proposal to the Khedive that an amnesty should be granted to the superior officers o£ Arabi's fore* if they deliver np Arabi Pasha. The Khedive has, it is understood, declined to agree to the proposal. LONDON, July 27. The debate in the House of Commons on the proposal of Mr Gladstone for an extraordinary credit of £2,300,000 to meet the expenses of the British expedition to Egypt, is now being proceeded with. The Radical and Conservative members are carrying on a disenssive debate, and are warmly criticising the Egyptian policy of the Government. ["Age" Special.] LONDON, July 25. Sir Charles Dilke stated in the House of Commons to-day that the Porte had agreed to send troops to Egypt, and that the conditions of occupation would be disclosed by the Conference to-morrow. It is reported that one of the murderers of Lord Cavendish and Mr Burke has been arrested in America, and that he has confessed to having comedited the crime.

An attempt has been made on tho life of Signor Sagasta, the Spanish Premier, by sending a dynamite infernal machine to him. Several arrests have been made in connection with the affsir-
