COURSING.

SHEFFIELD COURSING CLUB. The fourth mooting of the Sheffield Hoursing Club is fixed for August 22nd, when two events will be contested, viz., the Midden Stakes, for till-aged dogs, which have sever won any public money, open to Sheffield Club member* only; and also the Final Stake, for all-aged dogs, open to member* of any recognised club. The entries will uloee with Mr G. A. Keys, the hon. secretary, at Sheffield, at 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 17th, and the draw will taka place immediately after. The tryat will be at Mr Clinton's, Darfield, and all interested will meet at the Darfield Railway Station at 10 a.m. on the 23ad August. On this Oceanian Mr G. Rutherford will essay_ the onerous duties of Judge, whilst Mr J. Williams will act as slipper.
