bfc. [BEB3B ASSOCIATION TBLBQBAM.] . OAMABH, July 11. inquest on Sarah Adams was resumed _ to-day at Peebles. A witness named Neisa deposed that the deceased had told him that Beattie had threatened to kill her. Witness also deposed that after the deceased had been missed he told Beattie what she had said, and that Beattie thereupon changed color, and said “Kill her!” Several witnesses were examined, after which the jury returned the following verdict—" That Sarah Beattie or Adams came by her death by the hand of some person or persons to the jury unknown.”
