BOARD OF GOVERNORS.

The annual mealing of the Board of Governors of Canterbury College was held yesterday at 3 p.m. Present—Messrs E. da c v Malet (in the chair), W. Eeaves, J. D. Enys, J. N, Tots will, B. W. Eereday, H. J. Tanored, H. K. Webb, T. W. Maude, Dr. Coward, and the Kev. C. Eraser. The Chairman read tho annual statement. It wa» agreed that tho Board of Education oonld avail itself of the services of the master of the school of art—on condition of contributing the sum of £3OO par annum—on Mondays , and Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays at such time as may be mutually arranged. The reports of the school o£ agriculture and estates committee were read, received, and adopted. Mr W. Montgomery was re-elected chairman. The election of tbw various committees resulted as follow t —College committee, Messrs H. J. Tanored, F. de c. Malet, B, Beetbam, J. 0. Teel, tho Primate, and the Her. O. Fraser. Estates committee—Messrs J. N. Tosswill, E C. J. Stevens, B. W. Eereday, W. J. W. Hamilton, J. Inglia and E. de o. Malet. Museum committee—Messrs H. B. Webb, T. H. Potts, J. Inglis, E. W. Eereday and J. D. Enys, Library committee—Messrs J. Inglis, E. O. J. Stevens, J. O. Yeel, W. Beeves and Dr. Coward. School of Agriculture—Messrs H. J. Tanored, E, 0. J. Stevens, J. N. Tosswill, F. de C. Malet, T. W. Maude, H. P. Lance and W. Beeves. Medical committee— Messrs W. J. W. Hamilton, E. O. J. Stevens, J- C. Yeel, P. de c. Malet and the Bev. C. Eraser. The Board then adjourned.
