The weather was again showery during the day, and the attendance was consequently only moderate. The Australians with three wickets down for 60 runs went in for their first innings. Horan and Murdoch resumed their places at the wiokets. Both men batted splendidly, and remained together for some time. Murdoch at length was caught for 52, having played a splendid innings.
