SHEFFIELD COURSING- CLUB.
The entries below are those*, received on Thursday night for tho third meetieg ot the Sheffield Coursing Club. The running takes place on Tuesday celt, the 11th ip.at., and a start will be made at 10 a.m. in the paddocks below Waddiugton, belonging to Mr John Deans, working from there to the Bangor estate, the ground on both Homebush and Bangor estates having been placed at the committee’s disposal. The cup presented by Mr McMillan, the president of the club, is on view at Mr Flanagan’s Hotel, and is very generally admired. Visitors’ Plate. Mr Edmonds’ Jingiefiald meets Mr Leitch’s Welcome Boy Mr Hopkins’ Erin meets Mr Piper a Vashti Mr Edmonds’ Taipo meets Mr Levien’s licatire.
President’s Cup. Mr Ball’s Sir Roger meets Mr Gann’s Lady of the Lake , Mr Flanagan’s Grip meets Mr H. Willis Patrician Mr Flanagan's Scamp meets Mr Q.E. Willis Tibby Fuller , Mr Smith’s Wanaka meets Mr H. Willis Callao Mr Pearson’s Barbello meets Mr Campbell s Snowball „ „ , Mr Armstrong’s Nettle meets Mr Campbell s Mary Gray , Mr G. E.
