CORN EXCHANGE.
Report for the week ending Friday evening, tee 30th inat:— Business in the grain trade continues in the came semi-dormant state that has characterised it for some time back. Nevertheless prices in nearly ell lines of produce are firm, and holders are disinclined to operate except at full ntw. Wheat—Good sound milling samples are worth from 4s lOd to 5s per bushel, f.o.b ; second quality, 4s 3d to 4s fid per bnshel: chick wheat, 3s 3d to 4s per bushel ; seed wheats, 5s Jd to 5s fid per bushel. Oats—Milling quality, 3s 3d to 3s 4d per kiuhtl ; feed, 3s Id to 3s 3d per bnshel ; seed parcels, 3s 9d to 3s lOd per bushel. Barley—Prime malting is in good request, and saleable at from 4s fid to 4a 7d per bnshel ; feed, 3s 3d to 3s fid. Beans and Peas —The former are worth 4s 3d to 4s 4dper bnshel, f.0.b., the latter from 3s 9d to ss; according to quality. Potatoes—Business is still very inactive; last week’s quotations must be repeated, 35s to 37s ■Bd, at country stations. Che oho and Butter — fijd per lb for the former, la Id for the latter.
