Labobht.—Daniel Egan was charged with stealing a pipe, valued at Is, the property of B. Simpson. He had gone into the shop of prosecutor, called for a pipe, and, after smoking 'with it, refused to pay for it. H« then wanted to return it, but finally left with it in his possession. Accused pleaded drunkenness. He was sentenced to be imprisoned for seven days with hard labor.
Femtd ibt Bakkbuptot.—S. O. O. Bennet was charged with this offence. Mr Beeves, who appeared for the creditors' trustee, applied for a remand. Mr Joyce, for defendant, made no objection, and a remand was granted till June 29 th,
