It has transpired that Mr Francis, during the negotiations which have been proceeding for a settlement of the Ministerial crisis, stated that he was agreeable to withdraw his amendment, which the Government have decided to treat as a vote of want of confidence, if Sir Bryan O’Loghlea will promise to allow his proposals for a remission ef taxation to- bo negatived when they aro brought before the Assembly for diacunsion.
ADELAIDE, June 19. Holders of wheat are unwilling to operate except at higher prices.
