I'ignor Hiccardl was examined before the creditors’ trustee, Mr Thomas Macfai’aie, as to his estate. He stated he vre.s unable to make any offer to his creditors. Mr Coleman suggested the trustee should request Mr Williamson, of the Opera Company, to pay a portion of Eiccardi’s salary for the bsn-.-fit of his creditors. The Auckland L'osnsed Victuallers’ Association have determined to draw up for transmission to Parliament a series of suggestions, and proposed an amendment on the wording of the new Licensing Act.
