THE LATE GENERAL GARIBALDI.

An expreasion of sorrow on the part of the Italians in Obristohurch at the death or_ tn late General Garabaldi took place this noon in the concert hall of the Exhibition. A ciiafalqoe was creeled on which a coffin was placed, covered with laurel wreaths and white camelias. The flag of Italy, draped with crape, was displayed at each end of the coffin, and the base of the catafalque was carpeted with the flags of England, France, and America,

A procession was formed at the entrance of the art gallery of the Italians, headed by tho consul, Mr A. O. Wilson, who vas conducted by Captain De Moutalk and fit. Jo“ - bart to the platform. Addresses wer- delivered by the consul, Mr A. O. Wilson, Captain Da Montalk, Signors Federli and Pozzi, and M. Joubert. The band played Beethoven’s “ Marche Funebrs ” and other pieces.
