LONDON, June 7.
There are no changes to report in the money markets or for colonial produce. At the wool sale to-day, 11,600 bales were catalogued. Prices are firm, and an active demand was experienced. The P. and O. Company’s steamship Clyde, which left Melbourne on April 13 th, arrived here yesterday.
The Australian and New Zealand mails, via Suez and Brindisi, were delivered here to-day. BRUSSELS, June 7.
Sir H. Parkes, Premier of New South Wales, has been presented at Court, and is invited to lunch with his Majesty King Leopold, at the Royal Palace at Lacken, near this city, on Saturday nest.
NAPLES, June 7
The executors of the late General Garibaldi have found that cremation of his remains, in accordance with the desire expressed in his will, is not feasible, and it has been abandoned. The patriot’s body has been conveyed to the Island of Caprera, where he usually resided; and will be interred there to-day.
