THE POULTRY SHOW.

Considering that the season is altogether unfavourable for showing birds, the display in connection with the Exhibition Poultry Show is exceedingly commendable. All clauaen were well represented, the total number of entries amounting to 421. The show of game birds was very fair, and the Dorking classes were also well represented. The Spanish olasses, though not so numerous as might have been wished, were yet very good in quality. A very large numbor of pigeons wero shown in all classes. The canaries were also very numerous and of exoellent quality. The fowls and pigeons occupied the avenues right and left of the main entrance, the canaries being exhibited in the Wellingoctagon. As a whole, the show is a very oreditable one, and if the weather were only more favorable would doubtless attract a large number of visitors.

The judges in the various classes were as follows:—Mr E. Bees, for game, Malays, and bantams; Mr J Nanoatrow, for Spanish and Polish ; MessrsW. Wood, G. A. Eeade, and T. Stapleton, for Cochins and Brahmas, Dorkings and French fowls; Mr W. Brizzley, for Ham burgs ; Messrs W. G. Walker, Kerr and Sly, for pigeons ; Mr E. H. Banks, for ducks ; Mr T. Batchelor, for canaries and songsters; Messrs P. Taylor, W. B. Earnshaw, and A. Smith, for Pigeon race. The show will be open this evening and to-morrow.
