THE AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN r CAMBRIDGE UNITEESITY. [belter's telegeams.J LONDON, May 30. The cricket match, Australians v Cambridge University, was to-day resumed at Cambridge. The weather was fine, and the attendance daring the day was enormous, the greatest interest being taken in the match. The Cambridge Eleven continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 266, O. T. Studd being the highest soorer with 118. Palmer bawled splendidly for the Australians, taking six wickets lor 65 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and when the stump* were drawn for the day had put together 212 for the loss of only sis wickets. The following are the principal scores:— Bannerman, c 24 Massie, o 20 Horan, b Qiffen, not out 55 Palmer, not out 26
