Tho tone of ihe market is firm for nearly all classes of produce, with business, howerer, rather dull. Wheat —cood sound milling samples are saleable nt from 4a 9d to 4s lid per bushel, f .0.b.. Becond quality, 4s 3d to 4s 6d; chick ar.d broken wheat, 3s 6d to 4s per bushel, delivered in Chriatchnrch; seed wheat, 5a to 53 3d per bushel, in Christchurch. Oata—Good latont milling quality are worth from 3s 2d to 3a 4d per bushel; feed quality, 2d per bushel le3B, delivered in Christchurch. Barley—\ slightly batter feeling has bean -manifest during the week. No quotabli advance, however, can be recorded. Prime malting samples will fetch 4s 6d te 4s 7d per bubhol; second class malting samples, from 3s fid to 4s 3d per bushel. Beans—4s id to 4a 2d, delivered in Chriotchurch. Potatoes Several sales have taken placo during the week at from 36s to 37s_ 6d per ton, for immediate delivery at stations within a radius of ten miles from Christchurch. GraEs s.ed —No business is being done at preßont. Choeso and butter—Last week's quotations must be repeated, the former 5d per lb, the latter lOd per lb.
