The Customs duties collected at Christ :hnrch «n Friday, May 26th, were as follows: Spirits, £169 4a 8d; tobacco. £69 12s 6d ; wine, J 612 19s ; sugar, .£9l 14s lOd; tea, .£72 10s 6d ; goods by weight, £72 7s 3d; ad valorem, £49 Ba. Total, £Bl7 17s 9d. COMMERCIAL TELEGEAM3. Wellington, May 27. Messrs Laery and Campbell report—Hobart apples ore selling for lls 6d to 13s; pears, 13s to 14s ; eggs brought 3a per dozen ; there was no fresh butter; fowls, 3s to 3s 9d per pair; ■chickens, 2s 6d per pair; ducks, 5s per pair; turkeys, 5s each; geese, 4s each. The demand for feed wheat and barley is very small. < 'ata and pease are also very quiet, with nothing doing in potatoes for local consumption.
