THE EXHIBITION.

The attendance yesterday was very lavgs, particularly in the evening. From 11 a.m. to 5 p m. 1270 persons paid for admittance, and from 7.30 p.m. to 1 45 p.m. 3894, making a total attendance of 5164 for the day. To-night the third of the musical contests will take place, when vocal and instrumental solos will be given. A most attractive programme has been arranged, and no doubt there will be a very large attendance, particularly as all the contestants are local people. Those engaged in the contest are requested by advertisement elsewhere to assemble in the press room above the promoters’ office at 7.15 p.m. sharp.
