FIRE BRIGADE PROCESSION

The Fire Brigade Procession for this evening will start from the Carlton Hotel on the arrival of the tram oars from Papanui, meeting the North train, proceeding direct from Cathedral square, whore a halt will be made and fireworks discharged on a vacant piece of ground at the back of Godloy’s statue. It will then proceed down High street to Lichfield street, to Colombo street, Cashel street, Oxford terrace, to the Exhibiti in, where a set piece, “ God Save the Queen," will terminate the proceedings. The following is the order of the procession : Austrian Band Pioneer Company Rangiora Brigade Railway Engine Railway Brigade Extinguisher Lyttelton Biigade Dreadnought and Engine Kaiapoi Brigade Deluge Company City Guards Band
