[beuteb’s telegeams,] LONDON, May 14. It has transpired that the Channel Squadron are under orders to be ready within a fortnight to proceed to the Mediterranean, in view of the state of affairs in Egypt. A canister containing blasting powder was discovered by the police last night on the side of the Mansion House. No trace has yet been obtained of the perpetrators intending the outrage.
