Beetham, Esq., R.M.] DbtthkenNESS. —Margaret Falvey was fined ss, and ordered to pay Is 61 cab nire, or to be imprisoned for twenty-four hours with hard labor. James Shearer was fined 10s, and Is 6d cab hire, or in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment with hard labor. For a first offence, a man was fined ss, or in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment with hard labor. Aixkgkd Wife Dbsbrtion. —Fred Hob den, who had been arrested on board of the ship Brilliant, on which bo had shipped as A.B. for a voyage to England, was oharged with intending to desert his wife Selina. He stated that a deed of separation between the parties had been executed four years ago, and obtained a remand till Monday, May 15:h, for its production. Civil Case. —Stumbles v Drew, olaim £93 4s 6d, being the amount of two dishonored acceptances. Mr Maude appeared for the plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs and solicitor's tee.
