VICTORY FOR HANLAN.

[eEUTEE’B TELEGRAMS.! LONDON, May 1. The sculling race between Edward Hanlan, of Toronto, champion of the world, and Edward Triekett, of Sydney, for £SOO aside, took place to-day over the usual course on the Thames, and resulted in a victory for Hanlan by four lengths. Latest.

Hanlan’s victory over Triekett was the easiest that can bo imagined. He stopped three times during the race, and literally “played” with Triekett.
