Disorders in IrelandNews has been received from Ireland that a serious affray has occurred between the police and a " moonlight" marauders' band of 200. The latter, while engaged in raiding homesteads near Listowell, Connty Kerry, were attacked and fired upon by the police. Fifteen of them woro wounded and captured. frotected by Royal Charter. Tho prospectus of the North Borneo Trading Company was issued to-day. The nominal capital of the company is fixed at £2,000,000. Frozen MeatThe Orient Company's steamship Garonne, which left Melbourne on March 3rd with 4000 sheep and a quantity of beef and veal, has arrived. The meat has been examined, and reported fo be in prime condition. April 22. Retrenchment It has transpired that the Government decided to reduce the strength of the native troops in the Imperial service in India at an early date, and that four regiments of cavalry and nineteen of infantry are about to bo disbanded. The Late Dr. DarwinThe funeral of the late Dr Darwin will take place at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday, the 26th inst. AquaticLaycock, the Australian oarswan, has arrived in England, and is now staying at Putney. PARIS, April 21. Mr ParnellMr Parnell, who has been visiting his sister in this city, has started on his return for England. OTTAWA, April 21. The Irish Question. The Dominion House of Commons has voted an address to the Queen, praying that Her Majesty will grant an autonomic constitution to Ireland similar to that now enjoyed by Canada. The address further asks that those persons who are now in prison in Ireland for political offences should be pardoned.
