The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Friday, April 21st, were as follows :—Spirits, -.£255 7b 8d ; tobacco, £llO 2s; snuff, £lB 6a; wine, £l3 3s ; beer, £lO 2a 6d ; sugar, £62 7s 7d; tea, £34 12a 8d; goods by weight, £1 15s4d;'ad valorem, £llO Is; other duties, 13a 6d. Total, £616 lis 3d. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Dunedin, April 23. The British and New Zealand Mortgage and Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram, from Meaara Helmuth, Schwartze and Co., London, dated 20th inst. : At Antwerp aale3 of 6000 bales, the prices for all merino wools were equal to the average of last series ; for crossbred, Id lower than at the close of last aeries.
