THE EXHIBITION.

As several remarks have been made respecting the machinery portion of the Exhibition, it may be as well to mention that the various machines exhibited in the annexes are classified according to the respective classes in which they appear, and that tbey are shown in motion at different times daring the hoars at which the Exhibition is open to the public. The Austrian Band discussed most excellent music both afternoon and evening, to the great delight o: the visitors. On Monday next the exhibitors will meet to decide upon the jurors in the various classes, and as this is the most important item in the Exhib tion, no doubt those exhibitors who desire fo have their exhibits judged pioperly will attend on the occasion. In addition to the mechanical lamps for burning kerosene sent by the Hektograph Manufacturing Company of New York for exhibition in the United States section, we are informed by Mr Hogan that samples of their new disoovery—royal cement —have arrived for show and competition. The " New York Herald," a leading authority, writes : " Save money and repair damages to crockery and woodwork with royal cement; it is unaffected by hot water." Samples of fancy labels are shown by Newman and Dinglinger, New York. These are principally colored and most artistically finished. They are worthy of. the best attention of our engravers.
