WRECK OF A SCHOONER.

The schooner Maid of Otago, from Dunedin to Riverton with a general cargo, was dropping alongside the wharf with her anchor when the chain parted, and the vessel was speedily darh< d by the current, which is very strong, the bridge. Sbe rapidly commenced to fill, and has now settled down The schooner is owned by Captain McLeod, and is insured.
