Yesterday morning the following vessels en"deavored to leave Kaipara hsrbor :—Vindex, barque ; Transport, brig ; Sarah Pile, brigantine ; Zior and Energy, schooners. On reaching tho chaQLd it was found the wind was too light, and the vessels auchored, the four first named being off tho north Bpit head, and the Energy inside the Tory Shoal. All the vessels were rolling gunwales under. Later information states that the Vindex went ashore yesterday afternoon on the north spit head. No lives were lost. The captain has his wife aboard. The -vessel is near the wreck of the James A. Stewart, and will be a total wreck. The other vessels are all right at present.
