The Customs duties collected at Chriatclmrcli on Monday, March 27th, wero as follows:—Spirits, £lB3 9a sd; wine, £l4 ; beer, £5 15s 6d; sugar, £5 4s lid; tea, £3B 19s: goods by weight, £22 lis sd; ad valorem, £3lO 7s; other duties, £9 9s 3d. Total, £621163 6d.
At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board hold at ChrUtchnrch on Monday, Morch 27th, Bales wero made as follows:—Ordinary—Ashley. 131 a lr 29p ; Selwyn, 53a 3r 21p; Akaroa, 75a Or 30p j Geraldino, 49a ; Waimate, 2r. Deferred payments Village settlements Fairlie Creek, la. Total acreage sold, 301 a Or 6p. Total cash received, £303 10s sd. Refunds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £269 5s 9d.
