Throe more American trotting stallions have been exported to Victoria. Those horses are highly spoken of. One of them, Startle, has a 2m 20Jscci record, and is said to have covered the half mile in lmin Bsecs. The great trotting stallion race at Bochester, New York, this coming season, will be for a purse of £2OOO. The raoe, as that of last year, will take plaoe on the 4th of July. The Grango stud, formerly the property of the late Sir J. P. Bell, was put up to auction recently, but as the highest bid was £6OOO, it was not sold. Subsequently Mr Kent gave £IO,OOO for it for a company. There has been some talk of Darebin being matohed to run Commotion and Pell Mell over the Loger oourse, but, "Augur " says, it is hardly likely Mr Guesdon would be foolish enough to mutch his colt to run against two horses. Commotion's time in the V. 8.0. St. Leger, of 3min Usees, is the fastest reoord in the Australian oolonies, being half a second faster than Grand Flaneur's, and has only been beatoa on two occasions in England.
