The s s. To Anan having been detained at Wellington, will leave Lyttelton at 2 p_m, on Wednesday, instead of Tuesday, as originally -advertised. . The Persian, ship, from Melbourne, arrived ■ihia morning, to load wheat here. See brought part cargo of wheat ns stiffening. The ship Min y-don is I ng overdue, having left Newcastle on the B.h of February. It is ■stated that whoa loading at Newcastle she broke her moorings at the jetty during a heavy gale, and was stranded in the harbor and thrown on her beam ends. As she has n.t put iu an appearance here it is naturally supposed that the ship may then have sustained a severe straining. The ship Kinross, Captain Hancock, arrived on Saturday from Newcastle with 2000 tons of coal and a quantity of coke. She left Newcastlo on the 11 th instant. The British Yeoman and the Lnrliue left on Saturday, the former for San Francisco and the latter for London.

The steamer Wanaka, which left Lyttelton last night, with the Southern portion of the outward San Francisco mail, has not yet arrived. The Hawea is waiting to carry the mail to the Manakau. The steamers Alhambra and Wanaka. which left Lyttelton yesterday, have •aot yet arrived. It is thought they are delayed owing to meeting adverse weather. Timaiuj, March 26. The Botomahana arrived at the Blnff at 3.30 p.m., having made a smart run of three days nineteen hours from Melbourne. She left Williamstown at 520 p.m. on the 1 2nd.
