THE EXHIBITION.

Several persons having expressed doubts as to the position of the seats, &0., alloted to the season tioketholders, and others, enabling them to witness the procession on its way from the main entrance of the building to the alloted position from the dais, the promoters wish it generally known that the seats are arranged on either side of the avenue, through which the procession must necessarily pass. . In respect to an advertisement issued by Messrs H. Matson and Oo , calling for tenders for refreshments and other privileges, a very large number of responses have been made. The tenders were opened in the presence of the promoters, that of Mr T. Quilli A burton, being accepted for bars and refreshments. Tenders were also accepted tor lavatories, &0., and cloak-room, amounting to a total of £1175. The tenders for fruit and confectionery, not being considered satisfactory were passed over, and those privileges are still open for sale. The promoters have also called for tenders from photographers desirous of securing the privilege of erecting a photographic studio in the building for the purpose of obtaining negatives of exhibits,
