The Customs duties collected at Christchnrch on Thursday. March 23rd, were as follows : Bpirits, £!O3 7s 4d; cigars, £7 7s; wine, £S ss; beer, .£8 14s; sngsr, £73 Os 2d ; tea, £;9 12s 6d ; goods by weight, £260 13s lOd ; ad valorem, £sl sa. Total, £530 4s lOd.

At the usual sitting of the Waste Lards Board, held at Ch«3tchurch on Thursday, March 23rd, sales were made as follows: Ordinary: Pelwyn,4a; Gerald no, la 3r. Total acreage sold, 5a 3r. Total cash received, JBI3 9a. Refunds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £i 4s 31. COMMERCIAL TELEGBAMS. Auckland, March 24. Oats sold freely at 3s 6d to 3s 9d, several conBiderable lines having changed handß at 3s Bd. Oatmeal hiR advanced £3 or JS4 per ton during the week ; it ia very scarce.
