[BETJTER'S TBIiEGBAMS.I LONDON, March 23. The Markets. Consols, 101-j-. New Zealand securities are firm at last quotations. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £15,000,000. There are no changes to report in the colonial produce markets. Wool Sales. Upwards of 12,200 bales were catalogued at to-day's wool auction, the tono of which was strong. Superfine and finest qualities of all classes of wool are firmer; 11,500 bales have been withdrawn from sale since the opening of the series. College of MusicA meeting for the purpose of considering the Queen's question of the proposed new College of Music was held this evening. The Prince of Wales presided, and there was present a large number of distinguished persons, including many colonials resident in England, Earl Kimberley, Secretary of State for the Colonies, Sir Henry Parkes, and the AgentsGenerals for the Colonies. Several of the speakers on the ocasion appealed to the colonies to co-operate in the objects ef the meeting, and resolutions were passed with a view to the formation of the proposed College.
