The Customs duties collected at Christchurch cm Monday. March 20th, were as follows Spirits, £l2l 5s 8d ; tobacco, £l3 I*B 6d ; wine, £.,7 15a sd; sugar, £IOO 2s 43; goods by weight, £3l 19s 8.1 ; ad valorem, £4B ; other duties, £129 12s. Total, £837 Ha 7d.
At the usual sitting of the Waste Lacda Board, held at Christchurch on Monday, March 20th, sales were made as follows: — Ordinary, Solwyn, 3a ; Akaroa, Ir 12p ; Geraldine, 5 1 Or 20p ; Waimate, 20a. Total acreage sold, 28'. Ir. 32p. Total cash received, £56 18s. Ecf .ends on account of former purchases wore made in the amount of £3 15s 3d.
