TAYLOR & PAPPS, ARE now offering for Hale some of the Finest Teas in the Colony, at remarkably low prices, ranging from la 4d to 2a Sd per lb, and they also guarantee their Excelelor Mixture in packets of 2a 4d per lb, equal to any sold as fancy blends at 4s per lb. We do not make up for deficiency in quality by proficiency in advertising, which costa some firms Is per lb for every pound of Tea sold by them. The result is, it doea I not pay them to sell a Tea at Is 4d per lb, the same as we offer to the public—there would bo nothing left for the small bnt numerous agents. The blending of tea is not as some traders imply, a new thing; we venture to state, that every grocer (that has learnt his trade), without an exception, does the same, and always has done so, but oa different principles, or to suit different tastes, but naturally enough, what suits one does not suit another. To meet this diffioulty we have lately introduced three other separate mixtures, each of a different fhvor, besides the well-known. Teas usually sold by us so that a-e hope to be able to please the most fastidious of tsa drinkers. The «iow /nrataces are as follows ■— London Mixture, packed in 11b and alb pac&els, red wrapper, at 2s Sd pax lb. Excelsior Mixture, 11b and green wrapper. 2s 4d per lb. Standard Mixture, lib and Jib packet® J yellow wrapper, 2s per lb. Samples of these may be had gratis. THE TRIANGLE, (Lata Davenport’s) } And HIGH STREET, TWO DOOE3 FROM TUAM STREET.
