This match was concluded on Saturday, and resulted in a one innings viotory for the IT .0.0., owing principally it must be confessed to the bowling of one of the Lancaster Park contingent—namely, Mr Wilding, who did good servioe in both innings. On resuming play on Saturday the Midland went to the wiokets for their second innings, with 128 to make to save the innings, but they only succeeded in putting together 116. SYDENHAM YOUTHB t. U. 0.0. SECOND ELEVEN. The above match was oonoluded on Saturday, and proved that the teams were well matohed, tho game resulting in a draw. The youths in their first innings soored 143, Smith contributing 28, Johnson 24, Ashby 20, A. Lawrence 14, and 8. Forsyth 13. The U. 0.0. followed with 167; Fenwick 72, Baker 22, Paul 17, and Cox 11, being prinoipal Boorers. At call of time the youths had scored 180 in their second innings for the loss of nine wickets, tho chief contributors being W. Forsyth 67, Taylor 32, Baston 29, Smith 13, and Jones 10. For the TJ.C.C. Beswiok and Fenwick were the trundlers, whilst Bmithand Taylor were the most successful for the Youths.

WOOLSTON t. BIOHMOND.

A cricket match was played between the Woolston and Eiohmond 0.0. on Saturday last, resulting in a win for tho latter by an innings and 33 runs. For the Bichmond, Ballatyne, Heslip, and Bates played well. For the Woolston, Day and Martin plsyed best. The soores are—Riohmond 82, Woolston 16 and 33.

OHRIBT'B COLLEGE T. M.O.C. SECOND ELEVEN. This match was resumed last Saturday and ended in a draw. The B»turd»y before the M.O.C. hod only made 81 in their first innings, while the College had made 139 with nine wioketa down. The College only suo oeeded in adding another 18, making a total for the first innings of 152. The Midland in their seoond innings hit about very freely, Harareaves in particular making it very lively for the field ; in <» a ' towards the end of the afternoon the boys were decidedly becoming faceed ont and disheartened.
